This is a compilation of selected illustrations I made during the last half of 2014 (I was busy with my thesis during the first half). What you see here is mostly random personal stuff and a few unpublished works. There won't be any continuity in terms of these artworks, they may be out of proportions (well mostly because I work with a freakin' mouse), and they won't make sense, so don't look for it.

This is a proposed visual for a client. I made various logo concepts along with the look and feel. This was not chosen but it's cute so it lands here haha.
Speck of Dust
Inspired by lyrics of the song "Lost Stars" from the movie Begin Again (starring Keira Knightley). I love the story and soundtrack of this movie! Both of which inspired me to foolishly paint this piece, until I learned it was freakin' difficult with a mouse! *claps*

Maro - Haru
A self - portrait inspired from the Studio Ghibli film "Cat Returns". If you watch the movie this scene is actually taken from the last part. I really like this film and the story of Haru resonates with me. I also love the fact that it is the story written by Shizuku from Whisper Heart, another beautiful and a personal favorite Ghibli film. I love doing this even though it took some time and effort to get done. I guess by now you think I like to make things pretty hard for me hahaha. But then again as Baron Humbert von Gikkingen quotes in the film:
"Whenever someone creates something with all of their heart, then that creation is given a soul."
